Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is your deposit and payment policy?

The initial deposit is only 25%, with the remaining balance due by one week before your wedding day. We accept all forms of payments, but our bookkeeping is done through PayPal.

2. Why do wedding films cost so much?

Wedding filming requires people to do the same thing a film crew would do on a movie set, which takes many hours of perfecting their craft and substantial investment in gear. After investing thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours into this craft, then and only then can someone be considered a professional.

3. What is a highlight video?

Short, sweet, and straightforward. Our “Highlight Videos” summarize moments you will always want to cherish. We discreetly record wedding preparations, vows, speeches, and other significant happenings throughout the day to give you an edited arrangement you can watch, re-watch and share.

4. What is an engagement interview?

Most people have yet to learn how you both met, how he proposed, or what made you realize you were meant to be together. Engagement interviews allow you to reflect on those times in your relationship and truly cherish each other.

5. What is a short film?

A bit longer than our brilliant highlight films, these “Short Films” provide an extended cut version of your wedding day. We will record everything from when you start getting ready until you bid everyone farewell.

6. What parts of the wedding day do you film?

I will be like a fly on the wall for most of your wedding day, starting at prep until you leave in your horse and carriage. My second videographer’s arrival time is based on the groom's prep time.

7. How would you describe your style?

Timeless, discreet, enjoyable, and clean. Trends come and go, but crafted pieces of artwork will remain standing.

8. How do you select the music you use in the wedding film?

So LEGALLY, we can not use copyrighted music. Copyrighted music is any music you hear on the radio or something released by a signed music artist. With that being said, I do have access to copyright-free music. But if the film is just for your viewing at home and will not be published online, we can happily "borrow" some of your favorite music songs.

9. What is the turnaround time for the final video?

The turnaround time is 8 to 12 weeks. For revision requests, please add four weeks.

10. How many edits do I get if we want something changed in our wedding video?

If you do not love the edit I send you, I will gladly make any corrections you desire. All couples are allowed one chance to make changes. Anything more than that will require an hourly editing fee of $50.
